Smart Objects
Mouseover for viewing the second photograph. I really like creative the text smart objects. Makes applying styling much easier.
I am using Photoshop CC 2014 and I do not have the File > Place Embedded, only File > Place Linked. I don't suppose there is really any difference.

Oh, now it works perfectly EASY! Simply overlooked what I had read earlier. Replace Contents works effortlessly! My Layers below.
