1938 Diamond T
Only out West will one find a relic like this. In 1905 Charles Till formed the Diamond T Motor Car Company in Chicago. In it's day, it was considered the Cadillac of trucks! During WWII, Diamond T supplied more than 50,000 heavy duty military vehicles for our armies. In 1958 Diamond T was purchsed by White Motor Corp. In 1967 White Motor Corp. merged Reo and Diamond T into Diamond Reo. 1975 marked the end of the line for the Diamond T, as Diamond Reo filed for bankruptcy and its assets were liquidated.
