Lesson 4
The above links cover the XHTML/CSS and PHP homework that I have taken from LVS Online.com. I found Build II to be very, very difficult and took it twice although I did not redo the lessons 1 through 3. I see that there are several pages that do not now display as when completed and reviewed for the classes. Most of this has to do with centering; however, in one instance the images do not display. I have not removed the images from the hosting site. The PHP classes I took most recently. PHP was most interesting and I really like the results that can be obtained. If readers have any inkling of learning PHP, check out the links for that course.
My career in the U. S. Navy took me to Japan twice. The first time was for my first assignment as a young naval officer, leaving the United States on December 28, 1960. The flight was in a Constellation, a four engine airplane used extensively by TWA. It does not fly high and fast. The crossing of the Pacific was made in three legs — San Francisco to Hawaii, Hawaii to Wake Island and Wake Island to Tokyo. This, dear friends, took 36 hours! The experience of being in another country was exciting and the ensuing three and a half years was wonderful.
The below gallery of photographs are from that 1960's assignment in Japan. A far different Japan from today.
