Typography in web design plays an integral part in setting the tone, theme, and message of a website. Typography is the paractice of arranging type within a design. This includes the typeface, size, spacing, color, and style of the type. It also deals with designing type and its interaction with other elements on the page. Some other elements include photos and illustrations. You can call attention to particular parts of the content and deemphasize others by changing the font’s color, line-height, style and size. An effective palette of fonts not only makes a design attrative, but also contributes to the readabiltiy and usability of the content.
